http://www.curesearch.org Inspired by my daughter, a childhood cancer survivor, and the many doctors and nurses who make a difference everyday, we have partnered with Cure Search. Watching children and families live through the trauma of childhood cancer first-hand, inspired me to commit to giving my time and resources to people working to find cures for childhood cancers. CureSearch unites the world's largest childhood cancer research organization and the National Childhood Cancer Foundation through their joint mission to cure childhood cancer. Research is the key to the cure. Smart Mom is proud to support this worthy organization. - Kendra
http://www.dressforsuccess.org My sister-in-law died suddenly in 2006 of an undiagnosed congenital heart defect. She left behind my niece, Emma, who was just 8 days old. Maria was an accomplished artist and designer at Eileen Fisher. Because of her love of fashion and interest in women’s issues, we support Dress for Success in her memory. The mission of Dress for Success is to promote the economic independence of disadvantaged women by providing professional attire, a network of support and the career development tools to help women thrive in work and in life.
